Who, What, Why
SUSTAiN is a partnership of Voluntary organisations in Solihull working
to support Solihull's Voluntary and Community Sector in
its work.
Fit For The Future means making sure that Voluntary & Community organisations have the people, skills, facilities, resources and funds to secure a successful future.
Fit For The Future means ensuring that Voluntary & Community organisations have a say in local and national policies. That they are able to contribute fully to making Solihull a better place to live and work.
Our objective is to provide the support that's needed, in the way its needed, when its needed.
We are driven by the needs of the Voluntary & Community sector in Solihull and the needs of the local community.
Funded by Capacitybuilders through the ChangeUp programme, an Infrastructure Services contract with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, the Big Lottery and as the Solihull Development Agency for the Learning Skills Council, the SUSTAiN project will be providing services to the Sector, helping organisations develop their skills and capacity and build an effective network for communication, information sharing and sector representation.
This Web Site is being used to build a resource centre for the Sector as well as providing information about the programme.
