Benefits to Volunteer: fun activities, lovely people to work with, full training offered, opportunity to benefit others, opportunity to develop skills in new areas which could open up future career development.
Times / Days: evenings and weekends

Solihull Leisure Opportunities
Icebreakers–Volunteers pick up the members(adults who have a learning disability) one evening per month and go to the activity. (This can be bowling, pictures, meals out etc) All volunteers will need to be CRB. Tasks Involved: Listening and talking to members, picking the members up and taking them home, supporting the members as appropriate.

Solihull Leisure Opportunities Service User Reference Group (S.U.R.G) S.U.R.G– We are members from SoLO Projects. We speak up for other members of the projects we go to at SURG meetings which meet every 8 weeks at St. Andrews Church Centre. All volunteers will need to be CRB. Tasks Involved: Listening and talking to members, supporting the members as appropriate.

All volunteers will need to be CRB. Tasks Involved: Listening and talking to members, playing games, playing snooker, helping set up room.
