Various across Solihull Borough, and occasionally out of the borough on day trips.

VOLUNTEER DRIVER

Tasks involved: Picking up and dropping off young people to and from activity meeting point. If able to drive a minibus, transporting young people and staff to activity, which may be out of the Borough.

Skills required: Full driving licence and ability to drive, or learn to drive a minibus (if driving license carries a ‘D1’)

Benefits to volunteer: Meeting with the young people and enabling them to have a day off from their caring duties. If willing and able to drive a minibus, we will put you through the National Midas test to enable you to drive buses through Community Transport.

Times/Days required: Generally during school holidays, but occasional evenings and weekends.

Special requirements: Enhanced CRB check. Must be over 18 and hold a full driving licence.
