VARIOUS VOLUNTEER ROLES

The Royal Star & Garter Charity provides the very best nursing and therapeutic care to ex-Service men and women, and the widows(ers), spouses and partners of ex-Service people, in a homely and comfortable environment. We actively encourage residents to be independent and enjoy a full life. In fact we helped pioneer a number of treatment regimes for disabled people which are now standard practice. There are also a wide variety of leisure activities available for residents to enjoy, both internally and at outside venues. 

Tasks Involved: Various roles including befriending clients, fundraising and running a club

Skills needed: No skills needed

Benefits to Volunteer: Experienced gained through volunteering and assisting a charity to support ex-service men and women.
