Volunteer Be-friender

Tasks Involved: visiting the elderly and housebound in their own homes for 1-2 hrs per week

Skills needed: ability to communicate with the elderly and maybe visually and hearing impaired.

Benefits to Volunteer: the knowledge that you are helping the less able and lonely members of the community

Times / Days: any day to suit the client but NOT usually evenings

Special Requirements: commitment, patience and understanding
